How will my order be packaged?
I try to use the least amount of packaging and source eco-friendly packaging where possible. Cards and flat items are posted in board-backed envelopes and bigger items in boxes. I do, however, use bubble wrap to protect some items like framed prints. When I receive parcels I collect re-use bubble wrap wherever possible. When I use up all of my bubblewrap (and any other non-recyclable packaging items) I will source eco-friendly alternatives or stop using them all together (eg. cello bags to protect cards).
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs depend on the size of your order and where it is sent. All shipping costs include postage and packaging.
You can upgrade your shipping to include tracking, this will incur a higher charge.
How long will my order take?
I dispatch every Tuesday and Thursday via Royal Mail (except for public holidays). Orders placed after 11 am will be sent on the next shipping day.
Standard UK shipping is sent 2nd Class, this usually takes 2-3 days after dispatch. You can upgrade to 1st Class Signed For which usually takes 1-2 days after dispatch.
International orders can take 2-4 weeks, sometimes more if there are delays. Customs, bank holidays and world events can cause additional delays.
If you need your order for a certain date, please contact me before placing your order so I can check if it is possible.
What is my tracking number?
For standard postage, there is no tracking number. If you paid for a tracked service you should have received your tracking number with your shipping notification. Please contact me if you can not find it and I will re-send it.
EU shipping
Due to EU VAT regulations and packaging laws which vary between EU countries, I sadly do not ship to the EU.
Do I have to pay customs/duty/tax fees to pay before my order is delivered?
International orders (orders outside the UK) over specific amounts can incur customs/duty/tax feed. These fees and charges are from your country's government and can not be avoided. I always declare the amount you paid for items on customs forms, to falsify these forms is illegal. In order for your order to be delivered, you will need to pay any fees, your postal service should outline this. Fees paid for customs/duty/tax are non-refundable and are the buyer's responsibility.
What if I'm not home or my order is sent to the sorting office/post office?
If you are not home when your order is delivered and it will not fit through your mail slot/in your letterbox or needs a signature, it will likely be taken to the delivery depot/post office. Your mail carrier should leave a card telling you what to do next. If not, you can contact us and we will do what we can to help.
If your order is returned because it was not collected from the delivery depot/post office I can re-send it to you, however, you may need to pay the delivery fee again.
What if I have given the wrong address?
If an incorrect/incomplete address is supplied you can contact us to update your order. If your order has already been posted then you will need to wait until it is returned to us so we can re-post it. The delivery costs will be re-charged for orders to be re-sent. If you don't want to wait for the order to be returned to us you can place a new order and I will refund the original order when it is returned to me.
Please double check your address at check-out and when you receive your order confirmation as sometimes addresses are auto-completed and can be old addresses.
Can I return my order?
I really hope you are happy with your order! If you are not, please contact me and I will do what I can to resolve any issues.
Please do not send any items back before contacting me, if you do, I will not be responsible for costs incurred even for faulty items.
